If you’re reading this, it’s too late for you

Posted in Random Rants at 11:13 pm by jediwannabe

Well Elliot finally did it. He set me up with a blog, convincing me that my rants would be much more appreciated in cyberspace. Personally, I could care less about that. As long as more people are exposed to my genius, the better. Sadly, if you are reading this, that means you probably know me, and thus will be immune to the impressive grandstanding my skills in word-crafting allow me. If you don't know me, ignore that last sentence. I am brilliant and charismatic and presidents commonly come to me for advice. You know president Ford, and that whole Airforce 1 incident? I totally told him to kick the crap out of those terrorists, and look what happened. Yep, Harrison and I go way back.

Anyhow, back to the matter at hand-that matter being me, of course-I shall now describe what I intend to do with this site. I'm making a commitment to post every night this week. I chose the night because in the morning, if I'm not working at Safeway, I'm sleeping. These posts are guaranteed to make no guarantees. It might be about video games, or romance, or how good shooting Elliot with my new Airsoft pistol is going to feel, depending on my mood. If you want to respond (and I really hope you do, because I like hearing back from people) you are allowed to reply to my rant, or go off on your own tangent, to which I might reply if you are intriguing enough.

If enough people check this out, I'll keep going beyond this week. I hate doing anything without and audience, and that includes blogging. I'm so amazing, it would be a crime against humanity to keep all this awesomeness to myself. That is all for tonight. Tomorrow I shall be more serious, and give some real info on myself. Or not…no guarantees!

I’m starting to wonder if I just commited a crime… As Ryan Seacrest would say, “The ego has landed.”

I’d better not get an email for this.

you know, you’d be really hard to talk to if you weren’t so modest and humble…. oh yeah, elliot? thanks alot. can you say cruel and unusual punishment? ha ha you know i’m kidding, i love it :D it is very character appropriate.

So whatever happened to writing a post every night?

Just what the world needs:Peter’s thoughts. Daily.

p.s. you claiming to be Sicilian is like me claiming to be Jewisn. C’mon, you have blonde hair and blue eyes (blue, right?) but I guess then you can go around saying to never go in against a SICILIAN when DEATH in on the LINE

  7. Brianna said,

that would be somewhat appropriate since if peter ever said that, i would feel obligated to remind him of a good pal who could knock his abnormally large EGO down a notch, and i dont have to wear a mask to do it, unlike our friend Westly (wesly?) (spl?).

Blonde hair and blue eyes??!!?? Lena, I’m dissapointed. All the years we’ve known each other (no matter we’ve been off to our respective colleges for the last 3) and you can’t remember that I have light red hair and chocolate brown eyes? Ouchie, my pride. And since my dad is 100% sicilian and my mom has no one outstanding ethic background-she has about 7-I think I am justified calling myself Sicilian. I mean seriously, Sicilians are just like those passionate Italians, but we’re less romantic and more stubborn. Come on, is that so me? I think so. Well, now that that is taken care of, I’m off to blow up some zombies. Whee!

And Brianna, I taught Wesley all his fancy fencing moves. Starting left-handed was totally my idea. Letting that crazy chic push him off the cliff, not so much my idea. As for you wearing a mask, that would certainly make you look more menacing, but it would detract somewhat from your normally charming appearance. I’d go without.

It’s quite unfortunate I read this so early in the morning. Now breakfast just doesn’t sound too appealing. Although, it’s probably better than reading it at night, as it’s rather nightmare material…

  11. jediwannabe said,

Yay, Kala’s reading my blog. I’m happy :D

well not having read the blogs but just the comments. it sounds like i am in for a treat.

yeah after reading the first one….well let us just say that i am scared very scared. oh and that line about tangents of our own? here goes one! I HATE SOCCER!!!! Don’t get me wrong there is not a sport i don’t like to play, but this thing called the WORLD CUP, tell me, who cares? America? no. how many of you even know what it is? Does Europe care? yes. Does South America care? yes. Does the rest of the world care? yes. But since when have we Americans cared what the rest of the world cares about? I will tell you it was never. That is why all of our ancestors came over here in the first place! So back to this “World Cup” thing. I like to play golf, I don’t like to watch it. I like to play soccer, I can’t stand to watch 90 mintues (how many of you knew they played ninty mintue games?) of kicking a ball back and forth. If any of you saw the two games today that I saw that is all you saw! That is all that they were no goals, no riots nothing but red cards and yellow cards (more on that later). That is until the last minute of both games. The one with Austraila came down to a pentaly kick in stopage time(do you know what Stopage time is?) the other came down to a shoot out. So to sum up both games. BORING for 90 mintues, followed by one mintue of entertainment. What is the point! Next what is with the players? Like in any sport there are cheap shots and fouls. And like any sport there is the art of faking a foul to get a player out of a game on the opposing team, somthing that is called flopping. However, in Soccer the players are ridiculous! Never in all my days have I seen such horrible flops. Basketball is famous for its flopps, but soccer in my mind beats it like a yeti fighting a mouse. Sometimes I think players fall down because a player looks at them crosseyed or breathes to heavily in his direction. I think it absolutely ruins a game that is not that fun(to watch) to start with. This now brings us to what are called the refs. Those silly men who run up and down the field and hand out yellow and red cards like they were chirstmas cards. So many in fact that with ten games left in the tournment those silly refs have already topped the number for red and yellow cards handed out in a single world cup. By the way how many of you know what those cards mean and how many you can get in a game? Needless to say the refs I have seen (and I have watched about ten games so quite a few) either have bad eyesight or think the cards are good things that players are striving to get. So why do I watch then? Because a part of me really truly wants to see why the rest of the world cares. Because a part of me wants to see if it gets more exiciting.Because a part of me knows that none of my friends has cable and that I am the only one who can watch it. Because a part of me knows that there is nothing else on anyway and a part of me wants to mock what the rest of the world calls the beatiful game. Well I hope you enjoyed that and feel free to make me understand the “Beauty” of this game. As always forgive my typos(if there be any) and go OSU who is in the national championship game for baseball on right now, which i am going to go watch.
